Thank you Whaea Nellie for making a difference in Aroha 5.
We surely enjoyed creating your card made with so much Aroha!

Congratulations Philip for receiving the Empathy Award.
Thank you for being so friendly to others. I like the way how you are so supportive helping out your friends when in need of that extra encouragement to complete their task. Well done!

What a nice way to end the assembly with a delicious kai for our new Rowandale fanau.

Team Aroha 5: Yippy! It is FMS time with Counties Manukau Sports!

Looking after our Tinana

Kia ora koutou katoa, this week being the first time for Aroha 5 participating in a fundamental movement skills programme driven by Counties Manukau Sports. In support of developing children's confidence and skills through engaging in a range of sports, games and recreation. Today was all about balancing. We sure had fun learning alongside each other such as hopping on one leg,  balancing an object on our heads, following simple instructions and working as a team.  Can't wait for more physical health sessions. We shall see you again next week CMS.
 Thank you for your tautoko.
Well done Aroha 5!!! Ka Rawe tamariki ma so proud of you all..

Happy Mother's Day!

Wishing all our Aroha 5 Mother's, grandmother's, aunties everyone that has played an important motherly role in our children's lives.
"A fantastic, relaxing joyful " Mother's Day!"
Our tamariki ma sure had fun learning using their creative imagination, while developing their fine motor skills when recognising letters to form words and symbols.
In support of expressing their feelings on what they wanted to say to their lovely mothers.
" I love you Mum!"

Great start for Term 2 meeting and greeting our tamariki ma and their families. Awesome to see new relationships developing rapidly amongst each other. Our young learners exploring their new learning surrounding environment, relating well to others, participating and contributing within different learning experiences by using their creative constructive thinking to make sense of their new world through language, symbols and texts.
